This great event was much more than only a catch up about new cool and innovative Audiocodes stuff for partners, service providers, vendors and customers. Rather, they have highlighted, how important these partnerships are and how solutions complemented one another, feature requests are taken seriously and how much the IT Heros are necessary for Audiocodes and needed in the companies. Last but not least, the important topics such as change management and user adoption were also illuminated and how Audiocodes could support.
Shabtai Adlersberg (CEO and the founder of AudioCodes) kicked off the event with a great keynote. The company’s overall strategic vision for the coming years is very interesting and it was outlined the major areas in which innovation is planned.
So, the partnership with Jabra will be much more intensively, regarding the operative business and field operations. From the technological perspective it would be possible to monitor and manage Jabra headsets with OVOC.
Another partnership will be with Spectralink. Together they will offer a joint solution with DECT for the MSFT Cloud. The Spectralink handsets will be supported by OVOC (Q3/2019).
And at this point I would like to mention that the components like EMS, SEM, Phone Manager, ARM… will be combined to a single screen application, to display only one picture to the IT manager, respectively to the admin.
One of the most innovative topic was machine learning – listening and speaking, which gaves a fascinating look at the world of machine learning. It was very interesting to see how voice recognition, respectively the Voca solutions, like Voice.ai work and how they can improve productivity and customer service automation. The highlight was the Voice.ai Gateway, which making different cognitive voice services from Google, Microsoft and Amazon accessible to existing communication solutions.
Another look at the latest trends and solutions of the future was given for the world of contact centers. It was visualized how the Audiocodes ecosystem can improve the CC solutions. With Voice.ai and SBC integrated WebRTC Gateway are new technologies available (in the future) to get the most of automation and security for CC solutions.
For sure, MS Teams with Direct Routing was mentioned not only in one session. Customers can work with their local Telecommunications provider to enable Microsoft Teams users to make and receive telephone calls and get the interoperability with 3rd party systems, like PBXs, Call Center, and Analog Telephony Adaptors (ATA). Audiocodes delivers MS Teams certified SBC’s and IPP’s for this.

A lot of deep dive sessions, like media optimization, One Voice from Azure, centralized SIP trunks and interesting case studies from service providers, customers and vendors. And much more…
Last but not least, we had the chance to put questions directly to the AudioCodes management team. A really cool opportunity.
